Sauna interior
Sauna can be both a public institution and a private building. Sauna construction has become very popular lately. There are several reasons for this: someone visits Sanaa to improve their health, and some just like to spend their free time with friends and relax in a pleasant atmosphere in this place (the majority of such people).
When designing the interior of a sauna, it is necessary to think not only about creating a beautiful and cozy room, it is also important to take care of its durability and safety (especially in public saunas).
In the arrangement of the sauna, it is preferable to use natural materials that, when exposed to high temperatures, will not release harmful substances into the air, which then will have to be inhaled by everyone present in this room.
If we talk about walls and ceilings, then it is good to use wood material for decoration. Saunas look good with a ceiling and walls sewn up with distillation from cedar, Scandinavian spruce or Canadian fir. These are durable materials that are not afraid of high temperatures, besides emitting a pleasant smell. Between the walls and the sheathing, it is imperative to use a heat-insulating material (the ideal option would be to lay a mineral bath with a thickness of at least 45 millimeters). Otherwise, it will be very difficult to warm up the room to the desired temperature, and if it warms up, it will quickly cool down. If when decorating Russian baths it is impossible to do without decent waterproofing, then in the sauna it will be redundant, because the sauna is a fairly dry room.
The floors made of natural stone material, for example, granite, look beautiful in the interiors of saunas. However, the cost of arranging such a floor is high enough that not everyone can afford it. In this case, you can also pay attention to artificial materials, for example, cover the floor with suitable ceramic tiles. If the walls are protected with wood material, then tiles can be put on the floor that imitate the texture and color of natural wood. When choosing tiles for the sauna floor, special floor materials are selected that have a rough surface, on which it is almost impossible to slip. If, nevertheless, after covering the floor with the selected material, it turned out to be unsafely slippery, then it is advisable to put special gratings made of wood on top of it. Since the sauna floor is often wet, these gratings must be covered with a special lacquer composition that is used on yachts. The color of the lacquer may vary, so it is easy to choose one in which the grilles will best harmonize with the overall finish of the interior of the sauna.
When designing the interior of a sauna, it is important not to forget about lighting, and it should be special here. All used light sources must be placed in a special frame and closed with a special sealed cap. This is necessary to protect light sources from moisture. When choosing lighting devices, preference is given to elements with a not too bright luminous flux, since in a sauna it is preferable to use subdued soft light, in the rays of which it is easier to relax and unwind. If the selected source turned out to be too bright, it can be covered with a fabric lampshade, which will help scatter the harsh rays. In one sauna room, you can have several light elements, their number will depend on the power of the lamps, as well as on the size of the equipped room.
The interior design of the sauna is not only the interior decoration of the room and its lighting, it is also the right furniture that will contribute to a pleasant and comfortable stay, the most advantageous arrangement of hangers, the use of a variety of decorative accessories (only those that will be appropriate in this room).
