Leonid Efimenko was officially relieved of his post as chairman of the State Registration Service of the country. The corresponding decree was officially signed by the President of the country Viktor Yanukovych. Such information was indicated in the decree of the state type under number 52, starting from February, the relevant data was provided to the media.
At the same time, it is noteworthy that the signed version of the decree does not contain any detailed information regarding the reasons for which Mr. Efimenko was dismissed from his post.
Most analysts suggest that the main reason for the dismissal of Efimenko was the dissatisfaction that was expressed by the country’s Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during the start of the entire State Registration Service. It was with his submission that, as a result, the dismissal of Leonid Efimenko was initiated.
First of all, the initial measures for registering real rights to real estate objects, which began to be carried out by notaries and state registrars, led to negative work.
It is noteworthy that real estate transactions that were carried out in accordance with the new registration system were transferred from the BTI directly to the Ukrainian State Register, are processed for a long time, and long queues are formed. At the same time, there is an increase in the relevant services from notaries to about UAH 2,000. Previously, it was assumed that the function of registering property rights, real estate objects should have been transferred to the State Registration Service, but a large number of difficulties immediately arose.
