Owning a home is the dream of many people. A house built with your own hands – double pride. Well, if you also managed to successfully decorate the house – the grand prix in such a difficult area as the construction of houses is provided.
Indeed, sometimes it is the design of a house that takes much more effort, time and resources than construction. This is due to the difficulties in the selection of layout, furniture, colors. And yet it is a completely solvable question. It is especially interesting to solve it when it comes to the kitchen. Below are a few traditional solutions recognized by designers around the world.
No matter how strange it may sound, but the most important thing for the kitchen is the walls. The whole interior depends on them (by the way, such a norm should be followed when designing any room design). Therefore, in order to choose the right background and choose a shade, you need to evaluate the general parameters of a room or kitchen, figure out furniture options and choose lighting methods. It will not be superfluous to pay attention to the height of the ceilings. Designers advise using light colors for small kitchens, as they help to visually enlarge the space. At the same time, flashy shades are also not recommended, especially if the family (or hostess) spends a lot of time in the kitchen – from a psychological point of view, this is not the best move. Dark tones in the kitchen look noble, but only if they “keep” on contrasts and the kitchen parameters are so large that they allow you to reduce space. At the same time, it is not recommended to use metallic shades in large kitchens, since they make this room, which should be cozy a priori, boring and deserted. Pistachio tones, aquamarine, orange shades and enduring pastels are suitable for both large and small kitchens.
The lighting of the kitchen also needs to be approached with all responsibility. If the room faces the north room and there is not enough sun, you should choose soft warm tones of lamps – pale red, yellow-orange, apricot. If, on the contrary, there is too much sun, you can get by with pendant lighting or neon shades built into the ceiling.
