Modern inhabitants of our planet for the most part prefer to live in the city. Yes, it is understandable, because it is in cities that industrial enterprises are concentrated that provide people with work. Cities have attracted people since ancient times by the fact that they could quickly sell a variety of goods, and therefore buy everything you need. In addition, the cities had stronger protection from enemy attacks.
Cities grew, especially those that had a favorable location at the intersection of transport routes. To ensure normal living conditions, the city authorities have to think about creating a good infrastructure. Gradually, city dwellers centrally receive water for their homes. A sewage disposal system is being developed, that is, a sewerage system is being installed. More and more high-rise buildings are being built.
Thus, the comfort of living in the city is much higher than that of rural residents. True, in recent years, in the villages, conditions are being created for comfort approaching urban ones. But in cities, especially large ones, the air is becoming more and more polluted due to the presence of a large amount of transport, and emissions of waste from enterprises into the atmosphere. Therefore, many city dwellers try to go on vacation outside the city, at least in the summer.
Living outside the city, even for a short time, helps the townspeople gain strength and improve their health to a certain extent. Most residents of the city try to live in the country in the summer, coming to work in the city, especially if there were children in the family. Moreover, many people have their own cars, and public transport works well.
